Business Beyond Tomorrow

The Business Beyond Tomorrow Conference is Montreal’s longest-running sustainability conference that covers all three pillars of sustainability which are environmental, social, and economic. It is a forward-thinking event that connects students, faculty, and people from the industry venturing to explore the convergence of business and sustainability. It does so by using a hybrid approach of panel discussions and workshops for each of the three aforementioned pillars. This allows BBT to shed light on some of the sustainability trends and practices emerging in today’s workplace. Lastly, BBT connects students with like-minded industry professionals by hosting a networking session at the end of the event.

We seek to bring value to students through innovative methods of interaction. Attendees will listen to panel discussions of industry experts, learn new skills in workshops from people already in the industry, and lastly they will have the opportunity to engage with the professionals they have been learning from in the networking cocktail. The event will also be held in a hybrid model allowing students to attend it virtually via Zoom, this will increase attendance and allow more opportunities for those who could not be present in person. 

JSEC seeks to get students interested and excited about the possibility of working with sustainable practices in the future. Our organization wants to educate and help these students achieve their goals in a more well rounded and conscious industry. Today’s student body are tomorrow’s leaders and workforce, and they need to be pushed towards a more sustainable future more than ever before.
